Sammi: "Why does atomic forces have to be divided into strong and weak. ......."

At ordinary temperatures here on earth or even in the core region of the sun, at the natural energy levels we see in astro-physics the universe is ruled by four forces. Only for a fraction of a second in the most powerful lab experiments do we get data which leads to the electro-weak and GUT theories. You will hear news from SLAC, Fermilab, CERN and a few other places where the experiments occur.

Radical Egalitarianism [for me] means that the protons, neutrons and electrons [my mass or material makeup] are no different than any other protons etc.

That is, my body may be tall or short, more or less richly adorned, more or less photogenic than any other human body but all electrons in the rest state are the same and the electrons moving in what we call my brain are just the same as those in your brain.

I skip over the mind-body problem because mind is a word which cannot be measured in the lab, but the brain can be xrayed, PET scanned and measured or studied like a dog brain or any other complex electro-chemical activity in a living animal.

The "3d of space" is clearly an underestimation of reality. The fact that 3-d space curves (as Einstein shows) demonstrates that there must be at least one other spatial dimension. I frankly do not believe that it curves through time; at least not now (being a fan of string theory at this juncture in time).

Remember the rubber sheet with bowling ball in center analogy, with planets as smaller spheres going around the "sun", did not that involve only 3d of space?

OTOH string theory colapses it's extra d into the usual 4d for macro level GR [just as in Newtonian].
