The local fish and chip shop craps all over the franchises.
But Macca's are ok, I guess, as are Burger King(called Hungry Jack's here). But I've never tried Arby's or Wendies(logical, since we don't have them here). It's pretty hard to get chips badly wrong, so, "no preference". |

Burger King, but Arby's curly fries deserve an honorable mention.
Oh, and what about "freedom" fries? :banghead:

Arby's curly fries are the best fries available on that rather limited list.
There's a chain around here called Braums that has the best crinkle-cut fries in all the land though. |

Mine used to be Arby's, but after the one across from my house shut down for a day because a lady found a dead roach in her beef sandwich, it changed! Now I prefer Burger King's fries.
I think McDonalds has the worst fries I've ever tasted. Except the one in Paris. Those were the best! Melissa |
