The reason to care is to expose some of the workings of certain connected people. It is an instructive exercise for future application. Its called "conflict of interest" and that usually has some import in a civil society. If, on the other hand, civil society is of no importance to you, then conflicts of interest are, of course, a silly distraction.

Really? You're aware of the fact that a million Iranians were killed in the Iran- Iraq war, right? With an equal loss of life on the Iraqi side. Not to mention the fact that there are reports that Saddam disposed of 100-200K Iraqis?
