The Girl Scouts aren't Christian, though we do have a part about doing our best to "serve God, and my country" in the pledge. But there is no evangelism or Bible reading of any kind going on in official functions and meetings. In fact, you can opt out of the serve God part if you want. As an atheist since birth and a Girl Scout, I have no problem with them in schools.
But as for the rest of them, sue away, I say! Christian groups have no business evangelizing in public schools. |
