Seems a lot like His Eddianness over at E/C -- Ed enjoys claiming that the Nazis believed in an "evolutionary philosophy".

"Firstly, you can teach your children about God's creation. Begin when they are very young. Read to them over and over again the story of God's creation until they have it firmly fixed in their memory"

Default What are the consequences of atheism? - Please forgive me, mighty religious people.

“What are the consequences of atheism?”

Oh-oh…

I don’t like it already. I’m afraid of “the consequences”… Usually, when somebody talks about “the consequences”, they mean punishment.

Please forgive me, mighty religious people. Don’t torture me, don’t burn me, don’t crucify me, don’t kill me, don’t… don’t… don’t… I know, its “inconsistent” with your religion, but still, don’t kill me. Also, please don’t kill abortion doctors. And people with, as you say, “homosexual behavior”. It means, people, who behave homosexually. Hmm, it sounds weird. And other people, who, for any religious reason, you would like to kill.

If you kill an atheist, you won’t get to heaven. Remember: “Don’t murder”?

Or, BECAUSE you kill an atheist, you can go to heaven even SOONER? Sorry about that.

And you will live forever… And you’ll get 12 virgins (I know it’s from another religion, but it doesn’t matter – all religions “love” people and say: “Don’t murder”. Well, it doesn’t help.). And you’ll get a big house. And a sport car. And a new computer (Where you’ll get updates?). And free ice-cream. And DVD-player. And when you will get bored with 12 virgins you will get another set. Just return the used virgins (They still will be called “virgins”?). Trade them in. Just like a car…

Whew, it’s so difficult and confusing to be religious…

Thank god, I’m an atheist!

Or, you might say, a person with “atheistic behavior”.

P.S. I didn’t kill anybody and I don’t intend to. I don’t HAVE to kill anybody to prove that I don’t believe in god. Thank god… rather, goodness!

Default “The Bible’s amazing unity.” - It’s so AMAZING – it’s REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE.

“The Bible’s amazing unity.”

“The Bible’s amazing preservation.”

“The Bible’s absolute honesty.”

Yeah, yeah…

It’s amazing, all right.

It’s so AMAZING – it’s REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE.

Have they ever heard expression: “Too good to be true”?

I guess not…

Hey, I can do that too...

The Bible's amazing lack of consistency!
The Bible's extraordinarily fictional content!
The Bible's sensational contradictions with science and history!
The Bible's incredibly convoluted salvation scheme!
The Bible's mindbogglingly sheepish followers!

Wow! Exclamation marks and a groovy adjectives really do make a convincing case!

but make sure you have read the stories carefully to ensure they contain no hint of theistic evolution, progressive creation, day-age or gap theory. Avoid so-called Christian books which begin with the world as a molten blob or start with 'millions of years ago'.
Allow no hint of evolution in your home.
And....

[QUOTE]Teach your children about the fallacies of evolution before they learn about its supposed truth at school.[\QUOTE]

How does that work?

Easy. Instead of telling the kids about real evolution, their heads should be filled with a fallacious strawman version which the creationist literature can knock down.

I'm not sure either, but from what I've seen it's something like Hitler's "Herrenrasse" ideas. Have you already sought out and shot your weekly crippled, autistic or slightly myopic person so their filthy, unfit genes won't spread throughout our population? Remember, if you haven't, you aren't following true evolutionary philosophy and are contributing to the downfall of the human species!

There's a very clearly marked line between believing something exists and following the doctrine it presents. Certain christians who like to badmouth atheists don't seem to be able to see it. I believe evolution is true, but I don't mind humans having thwarted natural selection to a degree.

(This informative cover-up has been brought to you by the Evil Atheist Conspiracy, sponsored by the Evolutionistic Darwinophiles. Weekly meetings at 6 PM Thursdays at your nearest installation. Free coffee and donuts, bring your own sacrificial goats.)

Yes, that's what Dawkins says that we should strive to make ourselves as un-Darwinian a world as possible.
