That's a good idea, nj_heathens. It's logical, but that's also what I'm worried about. The owner says direct deposit is too "Big Brother", his mother in law says it's a sign of the apocalypse, I'm not dealing with rational people unfortunately. It's worth it to try to show them some numbers though.
Like you would a normal person. :banghead: |

I used to think direct deposit was great, mostly for the reasons people have mentioned. Then I read the small print. When you authorize your employer to deposit funds into your account, you are also giving permission for your employer to withdraw funds from your account.
This has nothing to do with GRD, so I am moving it to MD. |

Exodus 20:27 Thou shalt not directy deposit thy livestock in thine bondservant's field on payday, nor shalt thou directly deposit thy livestock in thine neighbor's field in payment for coveting thine neighbor's wife or thine neighbor's ass.
28 Thou shalt instead hand over thy livestock to the hands of thine bondservant or thine neighbor, and they shalt deposit the livestock in the fields themselves. |

Direct Deposit
I have direct deposit at one job, and no direct deposit at the other job. Having to go pick up my paycheck after 3:00PM on payday is a pain in the ass. It takes about 8 hours of my time each month because my one employer does not offer direct deposit. What's ironic is that my employer and I use the same bank! :banghead:
I am going to bring up the issue of direct deposit and hopefully they don't say, "It's a sign of the end of the world." |
