As far as I can tell, it's a fundy Catholic ranting and raving about Catholic doctrine becoming less bigoted and more reasonable. What all this has with church pedophilia cases is anyone's guess...oh wait, let me guess...lcb is going to try and establish a link between pedophilia and homosexuality. Right. |

I assume sodomites are simply people who participate in anal sex, but perhaps you have a more specific group in mind. While I definitely consider seducing children immoral (assuming my definition of children), I am unsure whether I consider it immoral for them to infiltrate "the church." I mean, does it simply mean they start going to church? I was under the impression that anyone could go.

No one owes you an answer to your loaded question, lcb, so this is a freebie - take it or leave it:
I think that to the extent any church official, whatever their position, were aware of abuse, harbored or covered up for abusers or encouraged or participated in abuse of children, or hindered investigations into same, they are liable for their contribution to the environment that allowed abusers to flourish, and should be held accountable for it civilly and in many cases criminally alongside the perpetrators of abuse. |

Sorry I don’t have more to say, but I really don't understand your implication that "sodomites" seduce children. As I said, everyone I know is a "sodomite" but I don't know anyone who seduces children. But don't bother to clarify; I don't typically expect your posts to make much sense.
