Actually, if you pay attention to Bush's speeches, this is his pattern -- spend the bulk of a speech on some generic principle while, and the minority of a speech defending a detail which is contrary to the general principle.

I find it interesting to note how effective this is at disarming his opponent. As a result of the lip service paid to the general principle, he draws little public criticism. And what little criticism he does receive is easily defelected by the lip service paid to the general principle. Meanwhile, the specific contra-principle proposal sails forth unhindered.

The reporter neglects to mention whether the crowd then held their right hands out stiffly and shouted "Heil!"
You people won't believe this, but on the front page of the local paper (Parkersburg, WVa) this morning it shows Bush in front of the crowd of people he gave this speech to and I swear that no less than 70% of them have their right arm fully extended into the air. I NEED to have this scanned into a .jpg.......stay tuned...

edit: oops I said hand, I meant arm....but it is still a very funny sight...

What is very scarey is how many people swallow the bush facade- and all the other lies and myths of a just government ('with liberty and justice for SOME', not all!)I don't know what it is about ignorant people- bush being the jester king of them all- it is disgusting, overwhelming... this is the world we live in!?! Thanks to all who post here- makes living amoung the walking inept a bit more tolerable...
