I've never tried to register on a religious BB until recently, and here's how naive I am - I tried to register at RR with my email address [email protected].

Guess what - I got banned before I even posted once.

However, I've registered at Christianity.com using a more prosaic email address and have posted there several times now.

Apparently they tolerate atheists, agnostics, etc. in their science threads, at least, who don't wax too 'blasphemous'.

The mods are the worst of the name calling crowd on TOL. I abandoned that place a while ago when it became nothing more than Knight's verbal abuse enabler's club. Talk about being immune to reason or logic.

I guess its a good thing I never tried theologyonline.com then, I'd probably be banned there as well.

But the people at RR are some of the most homophobic and scary people I've ever met (virtually speaking). A very disturbing thought would be all of those people in one actual room. I can imagine it them forming a mob to burn the atheists and homosexuals very quickly. Or at least tie them up and read Chick tracts to them all day (not sure which is worse).

Not only are they immune to logic, they are immune to reading comprehension tips.

They assert X belief, I show them Y Scripture contradicting them, and all they do is conclude that I am the devil.

You will get banned very fast. RR doesn't tolerate insulting or mocking God and members.
