Default Capitol Reef National Park

I am contemplating another trip to Southern Utah. I recall my first trip a few years ago. I drove there from Wisconsin 3 years ago, and spent 5 days in Capitol Reef NP. This was in March. What a wonderful place. Especially great was the Fruita campground. Canyon walls all around, a babbling brook, a field with short dry grass, a fence, with rabbits and deer right across the other side. Days at 75 degrees, nights at 20. Dry weather, but not hot, so you never feel dirty. It was great!!! That's the best camping trip I have ever been on.

Hiya, Cold Wind.

I remember your name from a thread about wanting to travel to Iraq, and then again about wanting to travel anywhere - is that right?

So where have you been so far? And where do you want to go?

I had the travel bug for years. Still have it, but I'm a bit housebound these days.

Have fun in Utah!
