i love just watching a woman totally express herself and her sexuality ... teeeeezzzing and taunting, succoring my every haptic wish ... She is there for me ....for me to totally gaze upon ...licking her theighs in my mind ...the perfume filling my head ...watching her hips rhythymically, alluring me in...looking into her decorated eyes, erotic lips, the angle of her sexual nose casts me into her spell...every reptilian fiber in me aches for her...She gyrates tantalizingly close offering her wantoness ...spreading her desire ...spinning her lushessness to each and every beast.
We are fortunate to have places for our complex reptilian centers to engage and be engaged As with all walks of life and occupations... there are many shades of gray . How sad it is for the less fortunate financially to have to resort to the military to make a buck... i enjoy painting from the nude female and carving that into stone... early in my career i frequented the strip shows with my pad an pencil ... ummmmmmmmm some very tasty work to be sure. Seems those folks trying to stop the show live in fear ... not wanting to let those who enjoy the sensuality of their humaness be free... Yet they may beat their wife or steal from the corporation... many things they do to keep up the charade ... |

I used to strip when I was around nineteen. I had expenses and the pay there is a lot better than working in food service or sales. I have no problem with it. Some friends and I (usually a couple of guys and four or so girls) would go out to the local club about once a week. Several of the girls were friends of mine. They come from all walks of life and from a variety of different backgrounds.

Prostitution is not as much of a problem as people make out either...there are more than enough outcall and escort companies out there where girls willing to have sex for money can work. We also have legal brothels an hour drive away where women can make 20k in a month. Most dancers would not take the risk of being arrested by soliciting in a club (I have seen a girl cuffed and removed in her heels and skimpy costume!), and most are not interested in doing so, or they would find an easier way (like the outcall companies I mentioned). |

Well, I can't add much except to agree with most of the folks that answered.
I grew up around strip clubs. Mom has always either owned or ran one for as long as I can remember. The women are all kinds, from all over. The common stereotype of "trailer trash" is a myth. Young single moms are quite common. Once some girl gets pregnant in high school, it is very difficult for them to make ends meet if the guy won't take responsibility for their part in the baby's life. A good many find that they can pay the bills, have a nice house, and pay for college or vocational training while working 3 or 4 nights a week. There are also the girls who do it for the thrill and attention. These are usually ones who considered themselves ugly and had some form of cosmetic alteration. They then flaunt it for the attention in a club. Also tend to be the most competitive for the tips. It validates their feelings, I suppose. Most often, it is just a job. It pays well, and has good hours. Many go home to a husband and family. My sister was one of these. She quit just about a year ago to dedicate more time to her daughter, since her husband is doing well enough to support them in the lifestyle they are used to. (It ain't easy to match the income of a popular stripper. My sister pulled $300-500 a night on friday and saturday, and $200-300 on weeknights) |

Just a few points:
1. I dont believe you can generalize about people. Including what kind of people strip and what kind of people go to strip clubs. 2. I have no problem with strip clubs, with people who choose to strip or with people who choose to go to strip clubs. 3. I have been to strip clubs only a few times in my life, and have had the following complaints:

In my single days, I considered it a challenge to go into a strip club and see if I could get a date with one of the girls. Honestly, I had about a 75% success ratio. Not too bad.
In my experience, every stripper I ever dated had head trips. But I've been upbraided for saying that here before, so I'll say that my experience is probably not indicative of all strippers. I go to strip clubs about two or three times a year. Once in a while the urge strikes me to go buy a newspaper and sit at a bar where naked women are running around. I never buy lap dances and I don't let them touch me because they wear very strong perfume and I don't need my incredibly observant wife getting the wrong idea. But then I usually get bored quickly because the environments are usually pretty seamy and I feel guilty about not wanting to hand out money to every girl that's just got done dancing. As far as strip clubs being legal? Well, I'll just say that I believe prostitution should be legal and well regulated. What two consenting adults want to do is their business. Besides, there has never been a society that has ever existed that stopped prostitution. Ever. It ain't called the world's oldest profession for nothing. |

A lap dance in Vegas is 20.00 at most clubs...many many customers think they should get off for this amount, or be able to touch at will. Some men who find they cannot touch the girls, and won't be getting a hand job or whatever will then play the victim and try to stiff the dancer. My impression was that the game was that she would prolong it as long as she thought he had money. Prostitution is not as much of a problem as people make out either...there are more than enough outcall and escort companies out there where girls willing to have sex for money can work. I'm not blaming the strip clubs for this--the proper fix is legalized prostitution. We also have legal brothels an hour drive away where women can make 20k in a month. Agreed. Most dancers would not take the risk of being arrested by soliciting in a club (I have seen a girl cuffed and removed in her heels and skimpy costume!), and most are not interested in doing so, or they would find an easier way (like the outcall companies I mentioned). It does happen, though. |

I usually go with the "boys" to a strip club once a year or so. I usually end up grinning like an idiot the whole time. It's pretty neat that there are totally naked girls dancing around 10' from you. The first time i went it was with my sister because she wanted to see where her boyfriend hung out. The next three times i went it was with my girlfriend and her buddies. She's got no problem with it. I did make the stupid drunken mistake of getting a lap dance once. Paying $10 for a naked lady to dance in your lap is pretty neat, but i felt like an idiot when i sobered up and my girlfriend was unimpressed when i told her the next day.
I can't believe that some US states don't serve alcohol at strip clubs, i mean what's the point? Ditto for states that don't let the women get entirely naked, why not just go to the beach and ogle topless women there? I don't really have any pithy sociological comments to make, but if you're ever in Halifax, Nova Scotia i highly recommend the Lighthouse. Something about having a major commercial port and a large Naval base nearby helps bring the really hot women around. |
