I have often quoted the bottleneck theory to explain why humans are all so similar, while other species, say dogs, can have such an incredible variation within (take a Jack Russel and a Great Dane).

There you go again, making erroneous assumptions. I have only high school and a couple semesters at the community college. Its not that I'm educated so much as it is that you're just really ignorant. Its a contrast effect.

I grew up half of one culture and half of another, it gave me a rare perspective.
Judging from your last several posts, you never grew up at all. Unless making childish ad hominems against people you've never met, criticizing research you obviously have never read, and making ridiculous generalizations about "White People" is considered grown up behavior in your culture. If so, I pity your culture indeed.

Last warning: if you persist in sniping at each other rather than addressing the subject of the OP (or at least some relevant E/C topic), this thread will be closed.

And because I have read the damn research already and wrote it off. Even saw a special on the Science Channel about it. Those boys should have done some dirt digging. In Spain and Portugal there once was a sizable Black and Moor population that interbred with the locals. Hundreds of years later, their genetic contribution is no longer detectable. Only hundreds of years later. These grandiose claim makers need to get a grip, and stop shooting spitwads at time gaps of 70,000 years.
If thie above is true, I find it very surprising. We have been able to trace Danish specific DNA from the viking conquests distributed around Britain without too much difficulty; these must date from around the year 1000 give or take a bit either side.

Can yhou cite the reserach you allude to above? One way or another it may be saying something interesting.
