Talking

WJ is a troll.

There, that's one true proposition. So it's TRUE.

Suppose I contend it is false?

Would that proposition be true?

Nope.

This troll belongs down in RR&P instead of up here pretending he is Socrates.

To all theists interested in continuing this topic:

I urge you to immediately disassociate yourselves from, and disinvite WJ from "helping" you; otherwise this philosophical Boppin' Bag will hijack this thread with more of his childish smugness and idiotic questions that go nowhere.

I'll bet I can predict his response.

Bible!

I bet you can't. Define logically necessary or, answer the question or, wait for Megath to reply. He's the only one who's getting it right.

We're not worthy, LuvLuv, but I'll take a stab anyway. Just give me a few minutes to stop the bigotry and I'll reply.

Is it not true that religion hinder's the progression of the human race if one fits one of the circles listed above? That's bigotry. And discrimination. And a tyranny.

Now if someone chooses to engage in a conversation in this forum, and a topic of discussion brings on some disagreeances, than there will be opinions. I may state that I don't understand someone's need for a God, and I may state that I am strong for having my own mind, for being a free thinker, but that's doesn't mean I advertise my thoughts for people to like them or suffer the consequences. I only advertise to my buyers (other people in this forum), just as I buy their written material. Friendly little business we got here, huh.

We are in this forum to discuss topics of reason and logic as they pertain to theism and atheism. In this, we will give opinions.

But don't translate them to being hate messages or messages of superiority. If we say that we are able to think for ourselves, we are not saying we dislike people who don't. Nor are we saying that we are better than people who don't. Not unless those people who don't think for themselves are forcing their religion on others or allowing their religion to shape their morals and ethics which may effect someone else in a negative way. If we respond to these people in a negative light, it's not bigotry. It's reaction or response to such bigotry or discrimination as offered up by the scriptures in the bible or by the supposed word of God.

Bottom line: We're not better than people who believe in God. But we are better than the word of god, and the scripture of the bible. And if you follow such words and scripture to a tee, even as they affect others in a negative light, than I question your bigotry or tolerance for others.

Sorry WJ, you lose. You see I wrote down what I thought you would say in advance and I will now post my prediction of your response here:

Bible!

Is that what your atheism is all about, winning and losing? If you are unable to attempt answering the question, then God must be a necessary being. Or, you're weak minded.

Yikes.

Sorry to rain on your parade.
