I got my 1st Richard Simmons workout video off of one of his infomercials. I still have it and use it. As a result of that 1st one, I now have a small collection of his videos. I really like them and use them whenever I'm in the excercise mode.

Now if I could just figure out how to make the beer calories go away-------------

Hey luna! I just recently ordered mine and it came in like 3 days ago. So far, so good. Ask me in a few months.

OOH! But, when I called to order, they asked if I wanted to get some vitamins for free except for s&h for a month and I said yeah. They are freakin' awesome!!!!! They came in before the videos did. I swear I felt a difference within a few hours. I've had more energy than I know what to do with. I haven't even been taking them for a week yet, and I can't imagine not taking them.

I bought a pair of Phase 4 orthotics for my golf shoes because they ain't exactly meant for walking. Worked so well I bought two more pair. I also bought something called Greg Norman's "Secret", basically a wrist guard that is supposed to help you ingrain a feel for the proper wrist position. It was a great training aid till it "disappeared" from my golf bag.

I'm an infomercial junkie. I am usually very happy with my purchases though some bad exceptions that come to mind are: RevoStyler, the thing that boosts cell phone reception, any GGW DVDs after the first one.

I've purchased some rings and loose gemstones from ACN TV and have been more than happy.
I've bought many things from ACN and have never been disappointed. I have a gold/silversmith who I work with to design custom jewelry with the stones. I have not yet seen a decent tanzanite from them, but what you see on the screen is exactly what you get, in my experience. Some of the many purchases:
  • 8 carat russian lab created Alexandrite (exact chemical makeup). I bought it for $160 and my jeweler said he wouldn't be able to get the same quality lab created stone for less than $400. It's an amazing color change stone.
  • brilliant orange 8mm fire opals for $17 each. We set those in silver for ring and pendant
  • 0.90 carat SI-1 blue diamond (natural diamond that had been irradiated) for $650
  • several of the large lots of fully faceted gemstones at about $1.25 per carat. We found many valuable stones in there , including various colors of sapphire and some awesome garnet, tourmaline and spinel. I use these for a decorator piece in my entryway.
I buy jewelry from qvc and hsn as well. Usually only the stuff $100 or less. An awesome amethyst and borneo sapphire ring, iolite and topaz, mobe pearl, peridot. They were all excellent buys.

Offhand, I forget the name of the product, but I purchased that rotisserie you can cook a whole turkey in. I used it many times and was quite satisfied with it.
Ron Popeil's Ronco Rotisserie Grill kicks chicken butt!!!!! I recommend that thing to anyone: it's clean and fast and you can seriously "set it and forget it!".

George Forman grills are excellent, too, but I got mine at a supermarket, so it doesn't count.

I bought a gazelle slider/glider exercise thing, but that's still in the box, so I don't have a clue if it's any good.

I'm sure there is more, but I can't think of them now.

I want that new thing that's a whisk and a spoon and tongs, but I think I can wait until it makes it to Costco or it shows up in one of the mail order catalogs I regularly order from.

Oh yeah, and I want the set of cookware the two comedian ladies sell that you simply heat on the stove and then set on the counter for it to slow cook for hours, but it's still too expensive and I don't want as many pots as they are selling.

I have to agree. I just love the gemstone parcels! (Except for the opals.) I've more than paid for the parcels with some of the things I've found. I haven't found an alex (yet), but I did get a 3.6ct red spinel that appraised for $3,500 and a .25 blue diamond that appraised for $400.

The faceted parsels are like a treasure hunt!

I feel like I'm a little odd in the gem department because I'm not a big fan of diamonds or tanzinite, but I did find a 7mm round tanzinite that appraised for $350. It's light but has a lot of sparkle. I don't think I'd purchase one though.

I haven't had anything appraised, but I'm sure the tanzanites I've bought were worth much more than the price I paid. I'm not a big fan of that stone either especially if it doesn't have deep color.

Definitely! Worth the price just for the fun! I have a simple crystal bowl on a table in my entryway with approx. 300 carats of gemstones. I consider it an "art" piece; I call it my bucket o' beauty. There is a loop and tweezers and white paper for my friends to dig around and play when they come over. When someone sees something they like, I let them take it. It's very liberating.

The spinel you mention must be utterly stunning!

Getting back to the OP, I remembered a couple of other things:
  • the orange cleaner stuff was ok in the cleaning dept. and smells nice
  • a set of dog training videos I never watched
  • the animal T-Touch series that covers a type of meditative/massage therapy connection for your pets that works very well at calming me down and my parrot, dog and horse all seemed to be mesmerized when we tried it, too.
