You're confusing Lent with Passover. Observant Jews don't eat leavened bread during Passover. They don't celebrate Lent at all.

Well, keep such rude gestures to yourself. I only have love for people that I know and care about, not for any old faceless schmuck on the 'net. That's one of the many, many things that I hate about xianity: The idea of loving everyone only cheapens love.

Salut Goliath.... it depends if the loving is " despite of" rather than " because of". I find the ability" to love despite of" to be enhancing to mankind as it promotes a challenge in which the one who loves has to be accepting of other people's failures and limitations.

Sheesh, if I try to push these discussions further, will you theists become Sesame Street characters?
