No... it wasn't clear to me what your question was. You suddenly jumped from chemical bonding to genetic mutation, and I was having a bit of trouble following your leaps

As many of us have been trying to say: mutations occur randomly, but if you replicate the same conditions under which a mutation occurred (or if you tweak someone's genetic material the exact same way every time), you will produce the same mutation. For example, if you give somebody an extra 21st chromosome, you give them Down syndrome. There are different circumstances under which people get that extra chromosome, but no matter how you get it, the result will be the same.

So you affirm to understand debate, but not analogy. Interesting.

"2) Do you even know what debate is?"

yes.
Now, I don't like people putting words in my mouth, so I can understand if this upsets you, but I truly, HONESTLY believe (though I cannot prove) that you haven't the slightest clue what debate is. I understand you may deny this, but I will probably maintain a belief that your denial (if you deny it) is simply for public, but in reality you wouldn't know debate if it bit you in the ass.

Perhaps if you cant address my questions and instead make posts like this which have nothing to do with the discussion, you should stay out of my threads
Why should I address your questions when your weak assertions are easier targets, especially considering you rarely defend them?

(but you cant resist a xian can you? The pleasure release of chemical stimulation in your brain every time you criticise one is too addictive)
Close. I can't resist an inferior who insists on using circular logic, thinly veiled insults, and outright dismissal as his basis for "success." It amuses me to no end, displaying their ignorance for all, even if the subject will never grasp how badly beaten he is.

hypocrisy is fine?
Excellent use of equivocation. Certain grade schoolers would be seriously stumped by this one.

of course! I'm a xian in an atheist forum. unless i just kneel before you, and take all your little insults, and slaps, I'm a troll. Expected. A xian who stands his ground will always be a troll when he steps into the atheist lions den.
Awww, poor little martyr.

Honestly, who do you think you're kidding? Your insults are thinly veiled at very best, and are in nearly any message you write.

*chuckle*

of course i do, and you are cofusing the axiom with categories of logic.

abiogenesis is a CATEGORY. it is simply
"Life was caused, and its cause was non-intelligent". It is a category with a nice little name. there are not an INFINITE amount of replacement theories. no amount of anger at me will create a new replacement. there are an infinite amount of logical ways abiogenesis could have happened, but not alternatives to abiogenesis itself.

THe axiom you keep citing is specifically about CAUSES and EFFECTS- abiogenesis is neither. it is a CATEGORY. i say Hume would agree with me because I believe he would be smart enough to know this.

"Equivocate all you want. It doesn't upset me at all, and it doesn't make it true. The fact is that I have no faith in abiogenesis."

I believe you do. I believe that i will wake up tomorrow. I also believe that you believe that life arose from nonlife spontaneously. I believe this.

Due to a lack of upper-forum content, I am going to move this thread to ~E~ (Elsewhere).

I'd like to be the first to congratulate Mageth on his powers of prophecy. Two more miracles and you're a saint!

The Bias of bree is obvious.

a discussion of abiogenesis is most certainly qualified for "upper forum content" although a lot of the repetitive nonsense from amaranth could have gotten it sent into the E category. a warning would have been more appropriate as me and mageth were in the middle of a good dialogue.

I hope Bree had a pleasurable dopamine release when he moved the xians post to the meaningless "e" forum.
