Huh. According to that chart, even the giant squid can be more than 12 meters. I thought they were more like 2-3... I guess the tentacles make them much longer.

Yes they do, in fact they have used it to track illegal whale hunting. They can grab a piece of whale meat off a store shelf and find out where it came from with the database of whale DNA. |
