I once encountered an interesting name - Dick Krapohl
I remember idly wondering if he had brothers named Harry and Phil... Also came across a dreadful female name - Latrina Sweatman I mean, it's bad enough having Sweatman for a last name, but to give her a first name so uncomfortably close to sounding like a restroom facility... parents can be so cruel. ![]() |

This isn't much, but anyway, I delivered newspapers for a while and in one of the blocks lived a person by the name of T. Bone.

My great-grandmother was named Elizabeth Hefflebauer. At one point, she was in a long line (at college, I think), and she was talking to the girl in front of her:
Girl: What's your name? GGM: Elizabeth Hefflebauer. Girl: What a funny name! My name is Franita Doozenberry. Or so they tell us. |

Worst thing is, the word "T-bone" when translated into Danish is exactly the same. It's been adopted from English. |

I'm in cutomer service, so I see weird names pop up all the time on my screen.
Last week's giggler was Mrs. Bya Berger |
