OK, I think we can close the thread now. This guy has trumped the lot.

I once encountered an interesting name - Dick Krapohl

I remember idly wondering if he had brothers named Harry and Phil...

Also came across a dreadful female name - Latrina Sweatman

I mean, it's bad enough having Sweatman for a last name, but to give her a first name so uncomfortably close to sounding like a restroom facility... parents can be so cruel.

Oh, yeah... My brother was lucky he wasn't a girl, my parents would have named him Marvel deCock! I kid you not!

This isn't much, but anyway, I delivered newspapers for a while and in one of the blocks lived a person by the name of T. Bone.

My great-grandmother was named Elizabeth Hefflebauer. At one point, she was in a long line (at college, I think), and she was talking to the girl in front of her:

Girl: What's your name?
GGM: Elizabeth Hefflebauer.
Girl: What a funny name! My name is Franita Doozenberry.

Or so they tell us.

You know, a man could go far in this world with a name like that.

Yep, feels that way, doesn't it? I don't think I'll ever understand how a couple called Bone can give their child a name starting with T. It's not as bad as "Justin Kees Hyde", but still...

Worst thing is, the word "T-bone" when translated into Danish is exactly the same. It's been adopted from English.

I'm in cutomer service, so I see weird names pop up all the time on my screen.

Last week's giggler was Mrs. Bya Berger
