I think someone posted this. It seems clearly unfair, but it's not clear that he was protesting the "under God" part of the pledge. He was disciplined for giving a black power salute during the pledge, which was labeled "disruptive behavior".
But I see in this article that it was also alleged that the "Moment of silence" was introduced at the school with "Let us pray" and followed by "Amen". |

Great, now students who don't participate can be beaten. In truth I knew this was the case, but I assumed it would be the other students doing the beating, and the authorities merely looking the other way. Now I see that the authorities can do the beating.
