Just thought I would see if anyone else is interested in a timeline of religion's failings. Not just xianity, but all the times in history that religion has been proven wrong.
Flat earth, 6,000 year old earth, creation, The sun is Apollo's chariot. and on and on and on. Do you think that religion's ludicrous claims against evolution, stem cell research, and other important human endeavors would lose strenght if we could simply point out that scientifically, religion has been wrong 99% of the time over history. (probably more than that, there are entire religions that have failed to get one fact right. Most of the religions probably fall into that category actually) |

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just do the times religion had been right? You'd have a lot fewer data points.

I don't see what good it would do to point out that religion is wrong so much. Theists would just point out how science is known to be wrong a lot, too. And they're not likely to accept the fact that science, unlike religion, has self-correcting mechanisms which have allowed it to grow and evolve.
