If a picture of one Iraqi kissing a US soldier doesn't convince people that millions of other Iraqis don't hate us, I don't know what will.

Extrapolating from one to millions? Isn't that some sort of fallacy?

Is the OP supposed to show a million pictures? Should he start his own gallery?
What's with the denial of reality? The fact is that Iraqis are more and more welcoming the coalition as liberators. It's been going on for weeks and it's becoming more and more frequent as the citizenry of Iraq becomes more secure in the knowledge that Saddam is gone. It's in every newspaper, news magazine, and tv show available to the public. But I suppose that every last one of those outlets are tools of the neo-con (or is it neo-liberal?) tyrants that are committing genocide strictly for the love of oil... Being wrong about something isn't the end of the world, but not being able to admit it is just kind of sad. |

Keep this picture handy.
When Kurdish and Shi'ite separatist movements begin to form... When Iraqis realize that the "transitional" government isn't all that transititional.... When terrorists use a conquered Iraq as a rallying cry... We can use this picture to quell disturbances. We'll project the image on 100ft. high walls. It should work perfectly. "They love us. They really, really love us" This picture will also be useful during the Iran and/or Syria invasion. "Let us in and you can kiss a Marine!" |
