Default any decent games for laptops

I bought a Toshiba laptop last summer as my primary computer. It has the dual-monitor feature permanently enabled.
When I bought it, I had NHL 2003, Morrowind, and Neverwinter Nights on my old pc.
None of them would run on the laptop, I suspect because the dual-monitor will not handle Glide graphics.
Are there any decent games on the market right now that will run on laptops?

Thanks. I've seen both BG's and Planescape, and they look like fun. They should be fairly cheap now too.
I'll check them out.

Diablo 1 & 2.
Pro Pinball: The Web
Pro Pinball: TimeShock
Pro Pinball: Big Race USA
Pro Pinball: Fantastic Journey

If you can find Warzone 2100 that might work.

M.A.M.E if you can find the game roms to download would give you access to a plethora of old arcade games to play.

I'm using a VAIO laptop.
I have emulators and roms for the NES, SNES, Genesis, and GameBoy.
In terms of actual games, my favorite is Civilisation 3. It kicks ass.

Warzone 2100 is'nt compatible with windows xp(at least not on my VAIO).
Ground Control is a good RTS and should run fine.
Also Homeworld is pretty good to.
And, yes, I'm a devout RTS freak!

I remember Ground Control. It also looked like it would be pretty decent.
Has anyone tried Arcanum on a laptop?
