Default Crushed or Cubes

So when you put your cup under an ice dispenser in the fridge, do you choose the crushed option or the cube option?

Crushed ice sucks. It melts into your drink way too quickly. Gimme cubes any day - they're far superior projectiles as well.

What ice dispenser?

Personally I like my ice crushed, but I normally don't have that option at home.

Crushed.

But what I REALLY like is the ice that some fast food places have that is kind of a crushed ice pellet. They kind of compress when you chew them. I love 'em!

Ideally I'd have a drink that's nice and cold to start with, so I don't have to add ice at all. But if that's not an option, it's cubes all the way. Crushed melts in and dillutes the drink way too fast.
