from here Oh, and on topic, for a change. Has anyone read Paul Davies "Otherworlds" ? I found it a good read about quantum mechanics & cosmology, but that was close to 15 years ago. I have a bit of a physics background, and enough math to understand some of the more abstract stuff, in principle, so I'd love any good book recommendations on the current state of the theory (without subscribing to a science journal). I thought that all structure-protons,nutrons,quarks,leptons etc-
completely break down within a singularity,into what? Also that none existed in the first flash of the big bang untill it had cooled sufficiently for quarks to form, so what then is the nature of that first flash of 'primal' energy? |
