The existence of Israel, and the presence of Muslims with autonomy, present the same threat to the availability of sites for archaeologists, which is considerably less than when these areas were under British dominion.

That fact stands regarding unavailability of facts to those who want factual history no matter how much wind is expended on stuff based on faith, unprovable one way or the other. That humans waste their breath over unprovable things is not news.
