Default New OutKast? Fuck yeah.

these guys are just about the only thing worthwhile in the mainstream hip hop scene. I can't fucking wait for this:

The new album will be a double CD with one for Andre and one for Big Boi.

Andre 3000 track Big Boi track

The andre track is so good I can't stand it.

Jay-Z, Killer Mike and Big Boi should put out an album. All the tracks they've done as a group have been just awesome...

In related news... the new Nappy Roots should be at least equally good. Good times for southern rap indeed...

YESSSSS! I need my OutKast!

(If anyone out there is reading this thread and scratching their heads in befuddlement, OutKast is one of the most intelligent and original hip-hop outfits around. They are brilliant without being pretentious or twee, with a killer sense of humor. Love 'em!)

while outkast aren't the best emcees around, they definitly take more risks than any other mainstream group and most underground acts.

great great stuff.

If they're not, they're close.

I still would say, however, that Skinny Deville is the best NEW mc to come up in the past 5 years or so. Southern rap on the rise...

This is why I love them so much too. The ability to be intelligent while still not sounding pretentious - you know that no matter what they have to say, the music comes first. So much underground rap these days is very self-indulgent, it's really nice to hear rappers just flowing like you KNOW they wrote those rhymes on the spot.
