Question know any psychotropic songs?

Hey guys, I am interested in psychotropic songs.

I suffer from depressive neurosis, and I found out lately that I am very suggestible by songs. my mood can really go up when hearing a cheering song.
To give you an example "don't worry be happy" by bob marely or Mcferrin has saved my life many times, by lefting my mood away from suicide! Naaah not really, just exaggerating

"you're the star" by light house family was good.

anyway, I really appreciate those songs that talks to you to get your mood high. So I appreciate song names, or links to such songs.

thank you all in advance.

Talking

Catamaran - Kyuss. Makes me feel reeeaally mellow....

Flowers - Cibo Matto. Happy.

Both previous songs have a tinge of sadness to them but to me that only makes the good feelings sweeter.

Cabron - Red Hot Chili Peppers A very cheery sounding song!

Jody Sings - Masters of Reality A lovely soppy love song.

ah thanks alot man, I'll hit it and start the download now.

hope I'll find them on Kazaa.

be sure that they are mood elevating, don't get me killed with my guitar strings by mistakenly prescribing a song with high blues ingredients.

The End by the Doors

That song always made me feel stoned without having to smoke pot. Oh, you want happy songs.

Beautiful People by Marylin Manson now that is happy.

download as many shonen knife songs as you can. every song is happy. they even describe their music as music for happy people.

the gentle waves song "weather show" it's the perfect song to listen to when you wake up in the morning.

also as many oz mutantes songs as you can. every song is happy and really uplifting. it's perfect music for spring and summer too.

I have to second the Shonen Knife recommendation. Can't help but feel good listening to their cute little Japanese accents singing "I want to go to the cookie shop" They're just silly and fun. (The one CD I know anyway.)

Pizzicato Five!

They do euphoria so, so well. I can't recommend them enough! Look for the songs:

"It's a Beautiful Day"
"Concerto"
"Playboy Playgirl"
"A New Song"
"Tout Tout Pour Ma Cherie"
"Cha-cha-cha"

Or just buy one of their CDs - I'd recommend Playboy & Playgirl, personally.

Eclipse from the album Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. The monotony of it all specified in the album is given hope in the end with Eclipse.

Pyramania from Pyramid by The Alan Parsons Project. The beat is just cheery.

Tragic Comic from III Sides to Every Story by Extreme. Showcasing the levity of love.

Sunflower Cat (Some dour cat) (Down with that) on Spirit Trails by Bruce Hornsby. "I'm down with that."

Synchronicity on Synchronicity by The Police. "You will know, Synchronicity."

I think that's a good group of them.

Feelin' Stronger Every Day and Saturday in the Park by Chicago are big happies for me.

And as goofy as it sounds, the Tom Jones and the Cardigans cover of Burning Down the House as well as Tom Jones' Sex Bomb never fail to make me smile. Yeah!
