Devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation.

The belief that nations will benefit from acting independently rather than collectively, emphasizing national rather than international goals.

Aspirations for national independence in a country under foreign domination.

Nationalist could mean anti-marxist aswell.

Well then, that's about as far from me as you could get.

Anyone else want to respond to this?

Or more likely the cause of it. I.E. Those who critized the Dixie Chicks and anyone else who spoke out against the unjustified invasion of Iraq.

...at the expense of all the other nations?

...like Iraq, or Columbia maybe?

Well, first you have to prove that is not in the best interests of a nation. Couldn't nationalist just as easily mean anti-capitalist?

Oh yeah, to answer the original question...no, I'm not a "nationalist".

Thumbs up

Ah, Rhys! I know you from various forums. What brought you here? For I somehow remember you speaking fondly of Jesus Christ.
