I read an email today from one of the left-wing ranters that claimed that a full analysis of the "two bioterrorism vans" that the US had captured had concluded that said vans were, in fact, exactly what the Iraqis had said that they were: mobile hydrogen production facilities for making weather balloons.

Did anybody happen to catch this revelation in the mainstream press? I sure didn't see it..... (But perhaps I just wasn't looking when it flew by. )

That is priceless, isn't it? Just substitute names and its like deja vu from the the U.N. inspections of Iraq. And this is an internal probe, not a forcible inspection by a foreign country.

I did some additional searching and in this article I found the closest thing to such a statement:

Not exactly a weather balloon story, but if Britain says that they sold them the two trucks in question.....
