Default Yahoo mail alert

Does anyone know how to keep the Yahoo "Mail Alert" and "Yahoo Insider" boxes from appearing?

Turn off your Yahoo messenger. You can either disable it when you log on or you can go turn it off in the startup menu.

Assuming your using a PC: Go to the start men. Then go to run and type msconfig. When the menu comes up hit the startup tab and select the programs that you don't want to start every time you turn on your computer.

I don't want to disable my Messenger, just the Insider and Mail alerts. Can I do that?

I just figured out how to stop the "Insider" box from appearing.
1. Click "Login"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click "General"
4. Go to "Misc" and make sure the box about "Insider" is not checked.

How to stop the "mail alerts"
1. Click "login"
2. Click "Preferences"
3. Click "Alerts and sounds"
4. Click "I receive a mail message"
5. Make sure that none of the boxes there are checked.

Thanks, ex-idaho.
