No one has yet explained to me the exact definition of "troll." Is it like trolling for fish? By putting down bait and slowly moving, from forum to forum, displaying the bait? Or does it have to do with trolls, the unpleasant characters who live under bridges and devour passers-by? where did this term come from? What exactly is its meaning in computer parlance?

Yes, like trolling for fish. In my mind, it's the bridge trolls doing the trolling.

What exactly is a troll? The basic definition for a troll is any remark designed to attract predictable responses, actions, or flames. It can be argued that any flame is a form of trolling, however all troll post are not necessarily flames. Insults and flames, while very effective, are simply one element of trolling.

Doesn't that sound stupid? Christian trolls reflect poorly on all Christians, do they not? Now follow that thought...

And I think being a drama queen and comparing trolling to vandalism and shooting people to be pretty stupid. Imo. But then they say opinions are like assholes...
