Default Sliced bread and chopped liver

Cant we come up with more contemporary metaphors than:
The greatest thing since sliced bread.
And, What am I, chopped liver?

Surely there are other references we can use, such as computers and the Net:
The greatest thing since broadband.
What am I, a 2 meg hard drive?

Perhaps from the mechanical world:
The greatest thing since self-tapping screws.
What am I, a 6-volt cordless drill?

The entertainment/medical world
The greatest thing since breast implants.
What am I, Michael Jacksons discarded viscera?
(Ok, that needs work)

Others?

Not to derail the discussion, but this thread reminded me of a Grandpa Simpson quote:

Abe Simpson: [narrating] The story of the Simpson family began in the Old Country. I forget which one exactly. My dad would drone on and on about America. He thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, sliced bread having been invented the previous winter.

Since one could make the argument that you could survive longer on a diet of chopped liver alone than on sliced bread alone, you could reverse it:

The greatest thing since chopped liver.
(Said by a starving man)

and

What am I, sliced bread?
(Said by someone who has seen the effects of protein-deficiency)

Or you could combine them:

The greatest thing since chopped liver on sliced bread.
(Ever had some delicious pate on a slice of good French bread? Yum)

or

What am I, chopped liver on sliced bread?
(Braunschweiger and Wonder Bread sandwich).

Only at the SecWeb could someone turn this into a logical discussion.

Oooh, don't forget post-modernist cultural-relativism: "Greatest thing since 9/11."
