Anyone remember the book by him called "The Homeric Epics and the Gospel of Mark"? Published a couple of years ago now. It created quite a stir for a while, and I remember some remarkable parallels between The Odyssey and G Mark.

Richard Carrier wrote a review of the book, in which he said:

There doesn't appear to have been any revolution yet. So what happened?

Actually, I don't really know at all. I asked the question because I want to find out. I remember when the book first came out there was a flurry of interest, but nobody seems to talk about it much anymore.

Has there been a revolution in NT scholarship as a result of this book? I'm not looking for an argument, just information and opinions.
