I came up:
# 1. Secular Humanism (100%) # 2. Unitarian Universalism (84%) # 3. Liberal Quakers (77%) # 4. Mainline - Liberal Christian Protestants (76%) # 5. Neo-Pagan (75%) # 6. Non-theist (68%) # 7. Reform Judaism (67%) # 8. New Age (61%) # 9. Mahayana Buddhism (55%) # 10. Theravada Buddhism (53%) # 11. New Thought (46%) # 12. Orthodox Quaker (46%) # 13. Scientology (46%) # 14. Sikhism (46%) # 15. Taoism (46%) # 16. Bah' Faith (36%) # 17. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (36%) # 18. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (36%) # 19. Mainline - Conservative Christian Protestant (29%) # 20. Eastern Orthodox (25%) # 21. Hinduism (25%) # 22. Islam (25%) # 23. Jainism (25%) # 24. Orthodox Judaism (25%) # 25. Roman Catholic (25%) # 26. Seventh Day Adventist (20%) # 27. Jehovah's Witness (10%) My problem with this type of quiz is questions (or rather, answers) like: Only natural forces (like evolution) and no Creator or spiritual forces. Or not sure. Or not important. I "believe" in evolution, I am sure, and it is very important. So I click on the None of the above button... |

There are some obvious flaws in the test.
Various answers are lumped in together that can have significant differences. Question 1 has a choice "No God or supreme force. Or, not sure. Or, not important." However, the three choices here bound up as one can have significant implications. There are several questions where "not sure" and "not important" is bound up with positive assertions of no god or naturalism. Question 3 says "3. ORIGINS OF PHYSICAL UNIVERSE AND LIFE ON EARTH. Choose one" but one answer is "Only natural forces (like evolution) and no Creator or spiritual forces. Or not sure. Or not important." Well, I'm sorry. Its "Only natural forces" and it is important. I can't recall ever claiming that I was happy that people were going to hell or anything like that. Also, I have no idea where you get the idea that JWs like the thought of the toture of non-believers. As pointed out above, JWs don't believe in Hell. They don't even believe in the heaven of which most mainstreamers claim is where Christians go to at death. They believe we are all confined to the earthly life--no soul, either. |

They have an interesting test for determining which dead philosopher you are. I'm Simone de Beauvoir, although I think they might have got more accurate results if there was a "what do you mean by free will?" choice.
http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/sele...t=Philosophers There's also a choose your favourite metaphysician. http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/sele...?client=philos Mine is Quine, apparently. http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/sele...t=TJPhilosophy and here it's Hume. And apparently, http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/sele...PopeZypgxPolls I should join the People's Temple. But I can't find them in the phone book ![]() |
