Default How about this, Annabel?

"They [you] wield their [your] superciliously pretentious hauteur with an imperiousness that verges on self-idolatry."

It's a bit busy, but it has a certain prolix charm.

okay...

next excercise....lol (grinning)

come up with another (fundie proofed) way of saying:

Fuck you and the horse you road in on..

(I actually had to write a paper on this once.. I loved that English professor.. the young fundies were SOOOOOOO shocked when we had to write a paper over the 'metaphorical' uses of the word 'fuck')

meeemmmmooorriiieeessss

To be fair, I think it mostly *had* run its course; Erwin did something dramatic (and thoughtfully didn't warn me *OR* any of the other staff), and there were a lot of hard feelings all around about stuff in that thread.

For the curious, I've got a medium-sized list of things I want to go look into and find out about. I did find at least one case where the reported problem turned out to be a misunderstanding... I am still looking into a few others. I'm trying not to do anything TOO dramatic for the first few days, give people a chance to get used to me.

Having gone through these threads, I have to say, a few people said a few things about some of the mods that were decidedly uncalled for, and didn't help anything. I mean, calling Blynn a "petty fundie"? The stuff about Mr. Cheese may have been a bit over the top; the guy's not perfect, but I don't think it was fair to call him a homophobe.

To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to "remove blessings", except for obvious stuff like warnings, but you can use them up.

I have seen people get set to 666 blessings, or xx666 in the case of people who had a lot; I don't know who did it, but I don't think it was the mods - I have a few suspicions, because it was a big fad during one of the debates with a few of the folks from RaptureReady, and I haven't seen it happen since most of them left.

Futue te ipsum et caballum tuum!

Remember, fundies don't learn Latin, because they think it's the language of the antichrist.
