Default KILL BILL Trailer

It's online and rockin'!

Kill Bill

Things I love about this trailer:
  • The music
  • Uma's outfit
  • Lucy Liu and Uma facing off in the snow
  • The old man standing on Uma's sword.
  • Sillohuettes
  • The tagline ("In 2003, Uma Thurman will Kill Bill.")
  • That one, great line of dialogue in the end that tells me that QT still has it
I absolutely cannot wait for this film.

Well I read the description of this trailer about a month ago and it sure sounded better than it looked. A lot of people are raving about the trailer but I dont see anything all that special about it. It looks like some Charlies Angels ripoff. But its QT so ill reserve judgement for when the movie comes out.

I disagree. Charlie's Angels was a farce (George McFly as the bad guy's main henchman?). The scene where Uma raises her sword and all the bad guys step back alone tops anything in that entire movie.

Whether the movie is as entertaining as the trailer, well, we'll have to see.

Now I didnt say it was Charlies Angels. I just remember people saying this had a better teaser than the Matrix Reloaded. Actually nothing in this teaser made me wanna watch the film. But because its QT. I must watch it to reserve my judgement. And yes CA is a farce.

I've been looking forward to this movie for quite some time. I read the unofficial screen play last year I realy think I'm going to like it.

I think it's Quentin Tarantino.

? What I want to know is, what is the movie supposed to be about? I don't like trailers full of flashy scenes with no mention of actual plot (unless there isn't one )

Fisheye, all I know about the plot is: Uma plays a woman (referred to, IIRC, as "the Bride") who is out to revenge herself against Bill, who has in some way wronged her (hence the "Uma Thurman wil ... KILL BILL"). I honestly don't want to know more than that! I went into PULP FICTION similarly clueless, and came out wowed.

Well, I hope there is more to the movie than that Hong Kong style twirling, flipping, wire fighting crap I'm so sick of. With the Matrix movies coming out , it's probably not a good year for that.

I'll withhold judgement til it comes out but I'm guessing it will be another let down like Jackie Brown.

Could be Quentin shot his load with scripts he wrote as a video store clerk. He hasn't done much in 10 years.
