I think I have posted on every thread on this topic over the past year or so, so I should keep up my reputation for subtle protest.
I bought a do-it-yourself stamp kit for this purpose. I create my own message with the individual letters, and I can change my protest message at will. These kits are available at places like Office Depot and Office Max. Plus, I get to circumvent the professional stamp-makers, and avoid their comments, their notice, and their potential refusal to create my requested message. I suppose if I was really worried about being found out as a person illegally stamping her bills, I would avoid admitting it on an internet forum. But, at least this audience is more likely to be supportive and discreet than your average small business. On a side note: I noticed a stamp in a stamp company brochure lately that had the whole current pledge of allegience on it- including the "under god" part - and credited it to the original author of the pledge on the stamp. When I get around to it, I must write the company a letter pointing out their ignorance. I'll be nice, I promise. |

This was actually fun. I pulled the bills out of my wallet (a 20, 10, 5 and 6 1's) and lined the cursed saying out. But you know that was not good enough. Since I am working the graveyard shift I went to all the coffee fund money cans and marked out all the bills I could find. Only 7 ones but every little bit helps. I feel better even though its 4 am.

You bet. After all, everyone knows IGWT is "of a patriotic or ceremonial character and bears no true resemblance to a governmental sponsorship of a religious exercise.
