Wrong, you can't live like the devil, because if you are truly saved - the Holy Spirit lives in you and convicts you of your sin. Those who are saved live for Christ, not the world - your response there truly shows me you have no freakin clue what it means to be saved.

But it strikes me that way back in the garden of Eden, that it was god who was pulling the [lamb's] wool over Adam and Eve's eyes, and being rather untruthful. And he who later became known as Satan was the one who told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Perhaps god knew that he had been rumbled as a con-man, and so had to come down to cause a diversion (JC), thereby changing The Word (tm)?

The way I look at it God told A&E that if they ate the fruit, they'd be sorry. Satan said God was lying. They got to be the first parents ever to have one of their offspring murdered. After that, I have no doubt that they started to believe maybe God wasn't lying after all.
