You keep saying you can do it, but have yet to explain how you do it. What's your method? What are your questions? Are you afraid we'll destroy your little game if you reveal them to us?

doesn't change the fact i can pin you down as an atheist and do so with a much higher degree of accuracy than the percentage of atheists in the population.

Have you kept statistics? Do you record the misses as well as the hits? If you're claiming something, you need to back it up with some evidence and the methods you used to collect the evidence. Until then, this remains a 100% bullshit session.

Honest question: Is there any atheist here who will deny that absolutely?

xian,

You keep claiming over and over again that you have a 90% chance of identifying people as atheists, but you have yet to demonstrate that this is true. To borrow a quote from Resevoir Dogs, "Are you gonna bark all day, little doggie? Or are you gonna bite?"

Sincerely,

Goliath

well i understand you don't like this. i know. i sympathize with you, really I do. I knew this would come as disturbing news that I can classify atheists in this manner with a good degree of probability.

the revelation is that either I have supernatural magic powers, or there is more common traits among atheists than you like to admit.

I'm unaware of anyone having any supernatural abilities, but if this *is* one than I'm gonna say you got ripped off.
It's really pretty cheezy when you compare it to flying, picking winning lottery numbers or any other alleged supernatural gift that might be helpful or even simply amusing.

Repeated for possible penetration:

"Atheists claim that they cannot be classified or that they have any common philosophical positions other than the one I cited above. "

Your source for this conclusion? Is this supposed to represent a claim made by all atheists, some atheists, most atheists? I know that I've never made that claim, but I am an atheist, so what exactly is your basis for the conclusion?

darn! i was hoping i had magic powers. Well still, it is kinda fun being able to classify atheists and identify them without them professing nonbelief in god(s).

i didn't say you had to like it. i'm only saying i can do it.
Like it? I love it. Displays of patent ignorance always bring a smile to my face, at least when it is those of little or no temporal power doing so. It would be quite difficult to get more ignorant than stereotyping.

Perhaps you will now go on to write a list for identifying African Americans, or Native Americans? That would also be amusing.

Sorry; ignorance, stereotyping in specific, is all too common.
