Talking Music on the English Atheist Website

I love all the midi files playing in the background on missus_gumby's website. It rocks! I only know the tune to one of the songs. On the second page of "a fistful of emails" (http://www.english-atheist.co.uk/memail_page2.htm), it seems that the tune is for "Go West" by the Pet Shop Boys. If missus_gumby or anyone else could fill me in on the other tunes, it would be greatly appreciated. :notworthy

If I'm not mistaken, the one on this page: Visitor is Beethovens 9th Symphony, 2nd movment.

In general the music on my "English Atheist" site takes a great deal longer to produce that the textual or graphic material it accompanies! Ouch!

The music on the first, long page of loony christian emails is "Playful Pizzicato" from the Simple Symphony by Benjamin Britten.

Some of the music is original.

Most of the music has some sort of tenuous link to the material on the page. Oddly enough, the "Go West"/ second page of loony emails is one of the exceptions.

It is best listened to using Yamaha XG midi equipment, or the equivalent Yamaha SoftSynth. (A long time ago I did some development work for Yamaha, and one or two of my midi files were included when their new generation of XG soundboards and tone modules went on sale.) However, one or two of the pages actually sound much better when listented to via an MU128 tone module - the grand-daddy of desktop music production systems. Unfortunately the thing costs a fortune, and is pretty much specialist kit.

If you want, I can produce the music for your website too - but I doubt if you could afford me!
