I'll concede that it's remotely possible that a dozen or so missles may have been found.... given the track record so far tho, it's somewhat more likely to be another 'oops.'

And even if it isn't.... how many people have died in this debacle? Can we honestly say 20 medium range missles (even if they're armed with sarin or VX...) are worth that many lives when the inspectors would most likely have found them WITHOUT anyone getting killed?

Inspectors find them?!

1) Very unlikely. These were on a poor-man's version of the MLRS. You can drive it down the street. What chance in the world would the inspectors have?

2) The trucks could be parked anywhere. No reason for the inspectors to go there.

3) The inspectors were never there to find all the weapons but merely to verify Iraq's destruction of them. Had the inspectors found them we probably would be exactly where we are now.

4) If they have these they have others.

And if either of these were happening we'd actually be able to provide the inspectors with satellite photos that weren't useless.

Well not exactly, we'd be several billion dollars and several hundred lives richer, as well as not having alienated most of our major allies.
