Then add on the $750 billion over ten years Dick Cheney said would be necessary for their Financial Industry Welfare... err... I mean Social Security Reform. That's $75 billion a year. Adding such a lump sum will make any cuts in the domestic plans mute by far and large. And that's assuming they'll only need $750 billion. Some have said up to $2 trillion, which would mean $200 billion borrowed a year. We'd have to slash our military budget in half to afford that! Cuts to domestic spending couldn't possibly cover that. They can't cover the $80 billion!
