How odd! I just realised that the John Mclachlan who wrote this paper was one of my lecturers when I was an undergrad. The co author, Helen Storey, is an artist who produced a collection of clothes based on embryonic development in collaboration with her sister, Kate Storey, who is a developmental biologist.
It all seems a bit peculiar. |

Whales and elephants are two mammals that have internal testicles. Anybody know any theories about why they are different?
(Other than the fact that if I lived where there were sharks and tigers I would want this too) |
