Thumbs up

Thanks Patrick, that's a good article...I guess Gould's "left-wall" model was wrong then. Would it be "fair use" to include one of the graphs from that paper if I were to write up a post on this, I wonder? I figure since it's free to sign up to be able to view it, it'd probably be ok.

I would think so too. Plus, I've seen 'free' Science articles being made available on other sites. For instance, the dino cladogram you posted the other day is from a Paul Sereno Science article, but is served from the Bellarmine.edu server.

Thanks for all the great links, and other information.

A good rule is to cite, cite, cite. I have known three people who have literally lost their careers due to plagiarism. 3 careers out of 30 years may not seem bad, but it ruined the affected parties.

I'd assume so, as long as you acknowledge the source. If they object that strongly they'll probablly block off-site linking, like Geocities does.

I am bumping up this thread so that "You Betcha" can answer the questions here and thereby defend his assertions on the Seeking Facts thread, where he said:
Quote:
Every creature appears suddenly fully formed. Turtles, which are prone to leave fossils show they are the same as they were thousands of years ago. The fact that there are billions of fossils shows that there was a massive flood that buried them all. The different strata shows they were layed down in a flood.
So how 'bout it? Can you defend your unsupported assertions here in the face of contrary evidence?
