Haran, the reason I mentioned the abdiction of Diocletian is because I have never read any other source outside of what you quoted that says anyone continued persecution of Christianity in the Western Roman empire, which leaves a persecution dating of 302-305 in the West. Who continued the persecution if Diocletian didn't?
