Ugh... If my husband doesn't start logging out when he leaves the computer, well, I don't know.

You know, Badfish once insinuated that I may be 'Stormy' in disguise. His only basis was that we are both from the same city (I don't live "in" the city, but state it as my location) with a metro population of 2.6 million. Nevermind that Stormy is a christian and I am an atheist and the he was well aware of that.

Anyway, I'll make an insinuation of my own... Badfish and Grim Reaper sure do use a lot of the same words... (I'm about half way through reading the "calling all homosexuals" thread): Conform you life, contend the faith. And suddenly Badfish appears in this thread and begins defending Grim Reaper. Are the similarities just because they are both fundy christians?

Actually, I don't think Badfish and Grim Reaper are one in the same, but I find the similarities interesting. Especially since Grim Reaper has said in one post that Seebs is trying to "out" his real identity.

... I had a question about this Message Board and how are Profiles are exhibited?

1st. Why can this place have Avatars?
2nd. I have to have about 90% of the time, I am having a hard time trying to figure who is what genter/sex *a* or *this* Person is. Example: I thought "livius drusus" was Male. Now I have found out that "livius drusus" is Female. And this has been the case lately as I am discovering later and finding out about the Posters here. It also doesn't bother me if they want to say they are Bisexual. But I would like to know who is what genter/sex. So I'm not getting confused with the Posters on this Board.

Now? Is "Smilin" a Female?

... I'm still single, if nobody ever noticed?

That option has been disable for reasons of bandwidth, but also, I think, because they do nothing but contribute to clutter and noise. For instance, even if I didn't find the discussion on christianforums to be shallow and uninteresting, I'd still avoid the place because of the hideous, garish, bric-a-brac that's strewn all over the place. II is quite clean and easy to read.

This is another feature that I rather like. Why should gender matter at all on an electronic bulletin board? It's not as if you are going to get a chance to check out any of our plumbing. Just forget your gender stereotypes and treat people as people.

Speak for yourself, pz. Some of us live in hope.

... ironically, that is different for me. I'm not on here as much as I am on Christian Forums. I love Aesthetics. I know that what is over at Christian Forums has more to do the delusion of the Faith with all the Theistic garish and bric-a-brac. And that kind of stuff doesn't really impress me. But I like to see personality. Gender personality has all kinds of quilities. It's not the stereotyping that this has to be for me, but gender has different things to offer that makes things interesting for me. One helps with the other kind, if one looks at this in another way.

I suppose it doesn't matter, then, Seebs, that the first time GR ever posted to me, it was to insult me and call me a coward. Sorry...someone "backing down on a few points" does not excuse their attacking someone. Ever. Especially since I'd never seen him before and wasn't directing my post at him. It was rather a funny one, if I remember right, actually.

I'm not surprised he'd insult Tear. Maybe he saves his worst stuff for women over there. That also follows along the lines for a LOT of aggressive male posters on CF.

What I find funny lately is that I've been posting regularly in the "All you gay people are really bad" threads, and no one's been responding to me at all. I must be making such good points that no one can rebut them.

If I knew, I wouldn't say. If I didn't know, I'd say that if I knew, I wouldn't say, so that, if I ever did know, my behavior wouldn't be changing.

I am a devious little weasel.

You have a point.

Keep in mind, I like some people that I think are jerks, and I always try to see the best in everyone.

::shrugs:: Given my own history which compels me to combat abuse when and where I see it, I find it hard to think well of those I see abusing others, particularly those I like.

But I'm willing to accept that you see things differently. Heck, I may even forgive you for liking "Last Temptation." But not The English Patient. I'm sorry...that's taking forgiveness too far.
