Hi,
have you saw the soccer world cup final ?
I was quite shocked to see all the brazilians praying god (they should prey for all the poor people over there instead of praying for football results) wearing T-shirt with "I love jesus" or "100% jesus".

Can't people just attribute their success or failure to their own merit ? Why would a god that mighty influence the result of a sport competition so some country can win and others not ? If god existed and had influenced the score, I would say him his should invest his time elswere where people really need it.

I have no idea if Brazilians really are like that normally, it surely put a dampener on it for me watching the celebrations, felt like barfing.

I laugh at some player substitutions, a frantic up down, left, right, centre fire ensues before the player feels ready to play some football.

That statue of Jebus the redeemer is one of the 10 biggest manmade landmarks in the world.

I really feel sorry for those people who had their own culture and were raped by christianity.
What about their original belief ? If they can change once, they can twice....

I found it interesting that Mass at one of the larger cities was delayed an hour so as to not interfere with the world cup final this past Sunday.

The damage is done and it`s most likely far too late for them to return to their own culture and beliefs. Maybe we could try mass hypnosis and try to get that damn statue out of there while they are under.

I see you are from Paris. It might interest you to know that huge Jesus statue was a gift from France.

And why is that? I remember in college that the Catholics routinely scheduled their mass around the super bowl every year.

Well, its sure they will not return to their ancestral belief, but maybe to something else if you see what I mean. Who can once can twice.

What a gift :/ . I didn't knew this, but I wish we would have given them another liberty statue instead of this.
Anyway, I hope their jebus will fall one day as fell the berlin wall: under the knocks of the people.
