I tried to meditate, I always fell asleep. I even ::can't believe I am going to tell you all this:: used one of those headgear deals with the flashing lights and sounds which was supposed to help you enter alpha state...it only annoyed me.
I also cannot be hypnotized if that makes any difference. I tell ya, I am either awake or asleep, no middle ground for me. |

I cannot be hypnotized either. A friend of mine was doing research in analysis of EEG signals and so all of us his friends had to "volunteer" since he needed more data for his thesis. I turned out not to be suitable subject since my alpha waves were practically nonexistent. I was lying there in the dark room with all those damn electrodes on me, almost fell asleep and still no alpha waves. Hmph. Afterwards my supervisor kept teasing me "I knew there was something wrong with you and now I have scientific confirmation". Humph^2.

Thats ok, I've never met a hypnotist who could tell I was faking it. |
