Wouldn't it really depend on the individual?

Buddhist Fundamentalism & Suppression of Dravidian Religion
The Sinhalese Buddhists engaged in wholesale destruction of Dravidian Shaivite shrines and temples. These dacoits looted and destroyed thousands of Shaiva temples, reddening the rivers of Lanka with the blood of massacered Dravdiians. Virtually all of the important Buddhist shrines are built on top of Shaivite temples which were demolished ! S.J.Gunasegaram in his book 'Trincomalee - the Holy Hill of Siva' has established using irrefutable facts and archaeological evidence that Trincomalee was a originally a Shiva shrine that was destroyed by the Aryan Buddhist fanatics [ Trinc ] :
" The earliest reference in the Pali Chronicles of Ceylon to the Saiva shrine at Trincomalee is found in the Mahavamsa (Ch. XXXVII, vv. 40 44). It states that Mahesan 'built also the Manivihara and founded three viharas destroying the temple of the gods the Gokanna, Erukavilla, and another in the village of the Brahman Kalanda'. In a note below Geiger the official translator of the Mahavamsa, states, "according to the Tika, the Gokanna Vihara is situated on the coast of the Eastern sea, the two other Viharas in Ruhuna ... the Tika also adds everywhere in the Island of Lanka he established the doctrine of the Buddha having destroyed the temples or the unbelievers, i.e. having abolished the Phallic symbols of Siva and so forth."
-- [ Trinc ] Summarizing this ghastly and inhuman religious persecution, Gunadegaram writes, " Mahasen, the one-time heretic, in his new formed zeal for Buddhism had ordered the destruction of all the temples of the earlier religion Saivaism including that at Trincomalee and those in Ruhuna ." [ Trinc ]

In 237 BC the Tamil king Elala usurped the Sinhalese throne, and in revenge, detroyed the Buddhist temples of the Aryan invaders. As per the Sinhalese account, " The Tamils, fiercely antagonistic to Buddhism, committed acts of vandalism in the sacred city of Anuradhapura, and, for a time, there was none to deter them. " [ Guru cited in Sinh_b ]. The brave Tamils defended their homeland from the savage Aryan invaders. Yet, the Tamil king was then overthrown by the Sinhalese prince Abhaya, who came from Southern Sri Lanka. This prince waged a `Holy Buddhist War' to establish Buddhism :
" The war that Gamini Abhaya waged with Elala was so a religious character and he made it known by a solemn proclamation that "this enterprise of mine is not for the purpose of acquiring the pomp and advantages of royalty. This undertaking has always had for its object the re-establishment of the religion of the supreme Buddha . By the truth of this declaration may the arms and equipment of my army in the hour of battle flash, as if emitting the rays of the sun" (Mahavansa, chap. 25)."

and on Japan during the period from the late 1800s through 1945:

Quote:
The Buddhist discourse of the time seems to have been animated by two major features, mentioned only in passing by the author despite their importance. These were, respectively, the decision to promote loyalty to the throne, patriotism, and national unity (pp. 12-13), and the sense of a "Japanese spiritual burden," according to the expression of Anesaki Masaharu (p.15). Such a "burden," which was unquestionably based on a feeling of spiritualand moral superiority, referred to the project to unify Eastern and Western thought and the advancement of the East. Loyalty to the throne and patriotism were expressed by a rhetoric of filial piety and self-sacrifice, whereas Japan's "spiritual burden" was clearly connected to militarism and colonialism. As the book explains, Buddhist institutions were directly engaged in various activities for the support of state military and colonial policies: the establishment of missions as part of the Japanese colonial administration, the performance of rituals for the protection of the state and the defeat of its enemies, fund raising, and training of soldiers (pp. 139-144).

Oh no the secret's out! As a Buddhist in the Tibetan tradition for over ten years I have to confess it's all true.

Hitler was right, Tibet is the home of the Aryan race. If you grab a Tibetan's face and pull really hard, their face comes off revealing itself to be a plastic mask.

Tibetans are actually blond, blue eyed and nordic. They're also a lot taller than they appear. Their language sounds Asian but it's actually medieval German with the letters rearranged.

Lift up a monks robes and you'll find a pair of shiny jackboots.

Remember that the Chinese Government putting out all of these true and critical exposes of Tibet recently got huffy with a female politician in Taiwan. It had accounts of her incredible, horrifying ugliness and facial deformities published in its newspapers whilst ensuring that no photos of the actually quite good looking woman were published.

A few questions.
1. - Where did they get it from?
2. - Are they Christians?
3. - How do they know?

A couple of points.
1. - There is all sorts of bullshit written about Tibet both by enhtusiasts and detractors.
2. - No Lama I've ever met pretends that Tibet was some sort of absolute paradise of total egalitarianism.
3. - Tibet is not Buddhism.
4. - Tibet is not Tibetan Buddhism.
