But this guy wasn't left with the impression that Atheists were nice too. He was left with the impression that you behaved like a Christian. It was along the lines of saying, "Why I can't believe a black woman like you gave me food when I was hungry. That's very white of you to do so."

You should have started screaming "Help, Help! There's a Fundamentalist on the plane!!! Heeeeelp!!!!!!!" and let the Air Marshals do the job they have been trained for.

I wish I could take the credit for that line, but I discovered it here in a thread a long time ago. The subject might have been: What do you say to someone who says sanctimoniously , "I'll pray for you..." One fellow infidel suggested saying, "OK---I'll THINK for you...." But whatever its origin, this is the place to come to find affirmation for the passion for thinking for oneself....

Atheists are unfortunately often stereotyped as being arrogant, miserable, selfish "know-it-alls" who have a foaming at the mouth hatred of all things Christian. It's good to break those preconceived notions.

I personally love sleeping in my bathtub that is filled with money that has been laundered from orphans while I dream of beating up Jesus.

Oh yeah his life was going so smoothly that his flight got cancelled and if it weren't for an act of kindness by a heathen who will burn in hell for all eternity, he would have been without food for the duration. sounds smooth to me

That's great. I love it when the self-righteous realize how arrogant they are.

How can you be so blind that you can't see that God was acting through him?

The Lord cancelled his plane flight so that he could be placed next to a heathen and given a chance to save a lost soul. Then the Hand of God smote you and caused you to not be able to eat your tasty chocolate dessert and blessed His loyal servant by having you give it to him.

It is SOOO obvious that this is indisputable evidence of the direct intervention of the Almighty. Based on this tale, I am deconverting from atheism and will become a pentacostalist. I don't know what the pentacostalists believe, but they have a really funny sounding name, so I like them.
